Photos Containing People
Myty does not perform facial recognition or attempt to identify anyone in your images.
If an uploaded image contains a person:
- It is used only for the requested feature (e.g., image-to-image generation)
- It is not used to train AI
- It is not stored longer than necessary to generate the requested output

These features are only activated when you choose to use them.
5.1 Types of Myty AI Features
Myty AI currently powers the following capabilities:
- Image-to-Image Generation (visual variations, design refinements)
- Moodboard Generation (automatically curated inspiration boards)
- Myty AI Assistant (chat-based design guidance and suggestions)
- Style, color, layout, and material recommendations
These features are designed to support creativity and interior design workflows. They are not intended to produce legally significant decisions or replace professional architectural, engineering, or construction advice.
5.2 Data Processed by Myty AI
When you use an AI feature, Myty AI may temporarily process:
- Images or photos you upload
- Text prompts, instructions, and messages
- Project context (e.g., materials selected, room type)
We use a data minimization approach: only the information strictly required to generate your requested output is transmitted to the AI processing service.
We do not intentionally process sensitive personal data.
If an uploaded image includes a person, Myty AI does not perform facial recognition or attempt to identify individuals.
5.3 Use of Third-Party AI Technologies (e.g., OpenAI & Google)
Some Myty AI features are powered by reputable third-party artificial intelligence providers, including OpenAI and Google. Your inputs—such as text prompts or uploaded images—may be securely transmitted to these providers solely to process your request and generate an output.
These providers act strictly as data processors and are contractually prohibited from:
- using your content to train their models unless you explicitly opt in,
- storing your data longer than necessary to fulfill the request,
- or using your information for marketing or advertising.
All data transmitted to these providers is encrypted in transit. Only the minimum required information is shared.
This setup complies with GDPR, CCPA, the EU AI transparency principles, and the Apple App Store’s requirements for cloud-based AI processing.
5.4 Storage and Retention of AI Data
Myty stores AI-related information in a way that helps you revisit previous work, maintain context across sessions, and continue your design process seamlessly.
- All AI interactions — including uploaded images, text prompts, AI chat messages, generated moodboards, image variations, and other AI outputs — are saved to your account history so that you can access, review, and reuse them later.
- This history allows Myty AI to provide context-aware assistance, improve continuity in conversations, and help you build upon previous design ideas.
- You may delete individual items from your AI history at any time or request complete removal of your AI history by contacting us directly.
- Saved content remains part of your account until you delete it.
- We do not use your saved AI history, uploaded content, or generated outputs to train or improve AI models unless you explicitly opt in.
This retention approach ensures a consistent user experience while maintaining user control and aligning with GDPR, CCPA, and Apple App Store privacy guidelines.
5.5 AI Safety & Limitations
Myty AI is designed to support creativity and assist with design tasks. However:
- Outputs may contain stylistic variations or inaccuracies
- Measurements and proportions may not correspond precisely to real-world conditions
- AI suggestions should be considered inspiration—not definitive architectural guidance
- AI does not make legally binding or high-impact decisions
AI-generated content should always be reviewed by the user before use.
5.6 Your Choices and Control
You remain in full control of your AI interactions. You may:
- Choose whether or not to use Myty AI features
- Request the deletion of personal data processed by AI
- Request information about how a specific AI output was generated
